PETALING JAYA, Aug 2 — The transformation of digital banks in Malaysia must be expedited to avoid Malaysia lagging behind its regional peers.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is confident the target of 400 e-payment transactions per capita can be achieved earlier than 2026, the original target, via efforts by digital banks.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 — Five consortia namely Boost Holdings Bhd-RHB Bank Bhd, GXS Bank Pte Ltd-Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd, Sea Ltd-YTL Digital Capital Sdn Bhd, AEON Financial Service Co Ltd-AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd-MoneyLion Inc and KAF Investment Bank Sdn Bhd win Malaysia’s digital bank licences.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has adopted a balanced approach to enable the admission of digital banks with strong value propositions and the ability to preserve the integrity and stability of the financial system, said Deputy Finance Minister II Mohd Shahar Abdullah.
